EDINBURG, Texas – With hurricane season quickly approaching, the City of Edinburg, in conjunction with Hidalgo County and the cities of McAllen, Mission, Pharr, and Weslaco, will host a Joint Regional Hurricane Preparedness Press Conference on Friday, May 31, at 10 a.m. at Edinburg City Hall.

This multi-jurisdictional collaboration will provide residents with crucial information about their cities’ disaster response plans, past experiences, and available resources before and after a hurricane strikes.
The press conference will be carried live on Facebook and Spectrum Channel 1300.
