EDINBURG, Texas – Today, the City of Edinburg has officially sworn in Mayor Ramiro Garza Jr., Councilmember Dan Diaz and Councilmember Jason De Leon. The new leadership will take effect immediately.
The official votes after the canvassing was completed show Ramiro Garza received 4,898 (52.5%) votes and Richard Molina received 4,476 (47.5%) votes, ushering in new leadership for the City of Edinburg.
Dan Diaz Received 4,480 (50.34%) of the votes. Ismael Martinez received 4,420 (49.66%) of the votes

Jason De Leon received 4,723 (52.37%) of he votes. Ruben Palacios received 4,296 ( 47.63%) of the votes
