Edinburg, Texas – The Edinburg Rotary Club recently honored the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District’s Career and Technical Education Program during its luncheon meeting at the Echo Hotel in Edinburg.
“We are extremely honored and excited that we are celebrating the academic successes of our Career and Technical Education students here in Edinburg,” ECISD Career and Technical Education Director Arminda Lozano said. “Our students are learning the skills that are needed to enter the workforce.”
The students’ recognition is part of the Edinburg Rotary’s Student of the Month Program, which highlights two senior students from each high school.
“We are honoring many students that are participating in our student organizations, such as Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Business Professionals of America (BPA), Future Farmers of America Association (FFA) and SkillsUSA students,” Lozano said. “We are truly excited that they are going to graduate with so many skills and will be able to enter the workforce ready.”
