Edinburg Philanthropist, Carlos and Sister Guerra Inducted into RGV Walk of Fame

Carlos and Sister Guerra, Owners of La Muñeca Cattle Company were inducted into the Rio Grande Valley Walk of Fame on Wednesday, March 4, at the Payne Arena.

EDINBURG, TX – Carlos and Sister Guerra, Owners of La Muñeca Cattle Company were inducted into the Rio Grande Valley Walk of Fame on Wednesday, March 4, at the Payne Arena.

Each year inductee nominations are received from cities and chambers of commerce across the Valley and are recognized at the ceremony with a brick paver. 

Carlos and Sister Guerra were nominated by the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce for consistently demonstrating qualities like compassion and selfless dedication to the needs of others in their community.

Carlos and Sister’s record of volunteerism is quite extensive, being involved with the inception of the Linn San Manuel Community Improvement Corporation, which has raised funds to support Brewster School, St. Anne’s Catholic Church, and the Linn San Manuel Volunteer Fire Department for more than 30 years. Sister served as the Club Manager and Adult Leader of the Linn San Manuel 4-H Club for more than 20 years. Carlos and Sister also served on the Brewster PTO and the Edinburg North FFA Booster Club. The Hidalgo County 4-H Foundation Board bestowed the title of Honorary Members to Carlos and Sister for their community service. They are also actively involved at the Texas Junior Simbrah and Simmental Association, and the American Junior Simbrah Roundup.
