EDINBURG, Texas – The Edinburg Police Department is proud to announce the arrival of its first therapy dog, Domino. Domino, a 4-year-old male Poodle, has been provided through K9s For Warriors, a program that supplies therapy dogs to law enforcement agencies and first responders who may be exposed to traumatic events in the line of duty.

Domino will also support victims of violence and offer comfort during their most difficult moments. His presence helps alleviate stress, promote a sense of calm, and offer comfort during challenging times.

Domino is excited to begin working with both the community and the department, fostering connections and offering affection wherever itā€™s needed. He will attend city functions and make appearances at local schools, where the public will be able to meet him and experience firsthand how he helps the department to humanize the badge.
