EDINBURG, Texas – Let the fiesta begin! Community members ages 50 and up are invited to join the Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department for their ‘Senior De Mayo’ event on Friday, May 3, 2024. The Cinco De Mayo festivities start at 9 a.m. at 700 S Veterans Blvd., and attendees will be able to enjoy food, sombrero decorating contests, games, arts and crafts, Loteria, and more!
Parks and Recreation staff will also lead low-impact group exercises at the facilities’ gym for those interested in participating. The event is free of charge.
