Residents Can Pay Outstanding Fines Without Additional Penalties

EDINBURG, Texas – The Edinburg Municipal Court is giving residents the opportunity to settle any outstanding fines or fees. This year, the amnesty program will run from March 4 – May 31, 2024. 

Residents with a Class C misdemeanor, like an outstanding traffic citation or warrant can pay their fine or make arrangements to pay without any additional fees. Failure to appear charges will be waived for those who come in voluntarily.

This year, in an effort to accommodate any resident who can not make it in during regular business hours, the court will be open on Saturday, March 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To qualify, residents must appear in person at the Edinburg Municipal Court located at 100 E. Freddy Gonzalez.
