Edinburg, TX – Looking for a way to revitalize your resume? Want to highlight your skills in the best way possible? The Sekula Memorial Library will be hosting a resume workshop to get your resume into great shape.
On Wednesday, April 28, 2021 the library will host a Resume Reboot Workshop at 4:00 pm. Topics that will be covered include ways to prepare for virtual and in-person interviews, tips for researching employers and requesting a desired salary, how to interpret and answer common interview questions, and strategies for interview follow-up and getting feedback.
The presenter will be Ashley Watkins, a Job Search Coach, a Nationally Certified Résumé Writer (NCRW) and Nationally Certified Online Profile Expert (NCOPE) with Write Step Resumes. Watkins has earned several accolades such as the 2019 LinkedIn Top Voice (Careers and Job Search Experts), 2019 Top 8 Resume Writing Services – The Balance Careers, and Jobscan’s 2019 Top Job Search Experts to Follow on LinkedIn.
The resume workshop is free and will be offered both in-person and virtually. Those who wish to attend the in-person workshop will need to register at the reference desk due to limited seating.
