EDINBURG, Texas – In honor of Father’s Day, the Edinburg Parks and Recreation Department is inviting residents to the highly anticipated Daddy and Me Event, set to take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event promises a fun-filled day of activities, entertainment, and bonding experiences for 500 community members.
This year, the Daddy and Me Event will be held at the Edinburg Municipal Pool,125 Mark S. Peña Drive, ensuring a memorable experience for participants of all ages. Attendees planning to participate in water activities should bring proper pool essentials like swimming trunks, sunscreen, and towels.
Participants can engage in exciting activities like a pie-eating contest, a water balloon-catching contest, and showing off their best cannonball skills.
The ‘Daddy and Me’ event is free and open to all residents of Edinburg and neighboring communities. Participants are encouraged to bring their enthusiasm to make the most of this heartwarming occasion.
