A man has been arrested for making “terroristic threats” against the District. The threat against Vela High School was made via email and parents were notified yesterday. The Edinburg CISD Police department with the help of the FBI were able to locate the individual and arrest him today. “These kinds of threats are serious and we intend to prosecute any individual that makes a threat against any of our schools”, said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mario Salinas.
