Edinburg – On Thursday, February 6, 2020, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, join the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce as they host a panel of Superintendents from Edinburg CISD, PSJA ISD, and Mercedes ISD. The luncheon will be held at the Edinburg Conference Center located at, 1616 Paseo Del Prado, in Edinburg. Gilbert Garza, Jr., the interim Superintendent for Edinburg CISD, Dr. Jorge Arredondo, PSJA Superintendent, and Mercedes ISD Superintendent, Carolyn Mendiola, will discuss what goals they aim to reach, the future of dual enrollment, and educational challenges they face.
Public Affairs Luncheons are an initiative introduced by the Edinburg Chamber in 2006, and since then have featured popular topics with speakers that cover important community and legislative issues. The vision is to inform, involve and educate chamber investors and civic leaders. The event also allows business professionals to meet, network and create opportunities for the companies they represent.
