EDINBURG, Texas – The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the UTRGV Career Center, ENACTUS Student Organization, Vantage Bank, and the Edinburg Economic Development Corporation, is proud to announce the launch of a Micro-Internship Program aimed at empowering local small businesses.
This innovative initiative is designed to connect small businesses with college-level interns who can assist with short-term, project-based work—at no cost to participating businesses. The program not only helps address immediate business needs but also provides students with meaningful, hands-on professional experience.

“We are excited to bridge the gap between academic talent and local entrepreneurship,” said Ronnie Larralde, Executive Director of the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce. “This program offers a win-win opportunity for both students and small businesses.”
Businesses interested in participating are encouraged to identify their areas of greatest need by completing a brief interest survey. The survey deadline is Sunday, July 20, 2025. Feedback will help the internship committee match businesses with students based on skills and project requirements.
To complete the interest survey at https://member.edinburg.com/atlas/forms/general/25 or for more information, please contact the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce at (956) 383-4974.
