EDINBURG, TX-  The Edinburg Chamber Ambassadors and staff organized their August Curbside Chamber Raid at The Landmark Lounge, located at 2708 S U.S. Business 281.

Chamber Raids allow ambassadors, board members, and the business community to support a local business by making a purchase. Each month, ambassadors meet to decide which member of the Edinburg Chamber to raid.

“We received a great response by having customers call in orders for curbside pickup throughout the day,” said Ronnie Larralde, Executive Director of the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce.

The purpose of the event is to support both Edinburg businesses and the overall community. Participants were encouraged to practice social distancing by utilizing the restaurant’s curbside service throughout the day, “by having the raid, it gives our community members who have wanted to patronize a business and had not yet the opportunity to do so,” said Larralde.
