Edwards Abstract and Title Co. is pleased to announce that President & CEO Byron Jay Lewis has been named as the Guest of Honor & Honorary Chair of the Annual Steak in Your Community Sponsored by the Boys & Girls Club of Edinburg RGV.

The 12th Annual Event is scheduled on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV Legacy Center located at 702 Cullen St.  The gymnasium will be transformed into cowboy heaven, so pull on your best jeans, throw your hat on, step in to your boots and get there by any means and Cowboy Up for Kids, Buckaroo! Enjoy dinner, live entertainment, live and Bonanza Board Auctions as doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Over 40 sponsors and supporters have aligned themselves with this worthy cause. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV serve over 18,000 youth at eight service sites located in Edinburg, San Manuel/Linn, Hargill, Faysville and San Carlos.  More than 80% of these young people are from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and look to the CLUB as an important stabilizing factor in their lives.

Byron Jay Lewis holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his law degree from the University of Houston College of Law in 1986.  He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Commercial Real Estate Law and Residential Real Estate Law.  He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Hidalgo County Bar Association, College of the State Bar of Texas, Fellow, Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation and Texas Land Title Association.  He is a former member of the Texas Association of Bank Counsel and Texas City Attorney’s Association.  Mr. Lewis has served as Advisory Director and Executive Officer of a bank, and is currently President & C.E.O. of Edwards Abstract and Title Co. and partner of the law firm of Lewis, Monroe and Pena – Attorneys At Law.  He has held numerous positions of leadership in many civic organizations and has also accomplished many professional achievements.
