EDINBURG, Texas– The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) is rapidly growing at North Industrial Park by hosting two groundbreakings in less than a month.
“Edinburg is the fastest-growing city in the RGV and it is reflected in the amount of business development seen around the city as well as the rapid expansion of the Edinburg North Industrial Park area,” says Blanca Davilla, Director of Economic Development.
On Friday, May 20, 2022, the Siddons-Martin Emergency Group kicked off construction for its newest facility located at 700 Independence Dr. at North Industrial Park in Edinburg. Siddons-Martin provides emergency vehicle products and services to customers across Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana. Relocating from Pharr to Edinburg, Siddons-Martin purchased a 3.5-acre property from the Economic Development Corporation for a total capital investment estimating $1,925,000. Siddons-Martin forecasts hiring an additional ten people in addition to the ten employees who will be relocating from their Pharr location to their new facility in Edinburg upon completion.
In late April, RGV Tours held a groundbreaking at North Industrial Park located at 800 Constitution Dr. in Edinburg.
