Edinburg, Texas – The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation (EEDC) is proud to announce a significant milestone in the economic growth of the City of Edinburg with the expansion of Ethan Yoo Construction & Development LLC. Under the visionary leadership of owner Ethan Yoo, the company has recently acquired a 2.4-acre tract of land in Edinburg’s thriving North Industrial Park (Lot 7A) to establish a local back-office operation company.

This expansion not only reflects the commitment of Ethan Yoo Construction & Development LLC to Edinburg but also brings substantial benefits to the community. It is estimated that this project will generate 12 new jobs and involve a capital investment of $750,000, further solidifying Edinburg’s position as a destination for business growth and investment.

The Yoo strategic expansion project will include the construction of a minimum of 20,000 square feet of flexible space dedicated to fleet maintenance and office operations. Additionally, plans include the development of spec space for lease, providing an exciting opportunity for local businesses. The logistics expansion of the Business Payment Systems will centralize technical support and equipment receiving and distributing, enhancing operational efficiency.

The acquisition of the 2.4-acre tract was successfully completed on July 31, 2023, continuing the Edinburg EDC’s efforts to develop the North Industrial Park and make it the park of choice for expanding businesses.
