McAllen, TX (April 1, 2015) – Open registration is now available for current and future students who wish to attend summer and fall 2015 classes at South Texas College. With popular courses in high demand, students are encouraged to take advantage of registering early to ensure they have classes that accommodate their busy schedules.
“We know our students juggle more than just school,” said Paul Hernandez, STC dean of student affairs. “That is why it is so important for students to register as early as possible so they can secure the classes they need and also accommodate their other responsibilities. In the end, a good schedule is going to be more cost effective, and the student will have a better on-campus experience.”
For students who are not able to register in person at the Pecan, Mid-Valley or Starr County Campuses, registration via JagNet and a registration checklist is available 24/7 at southtexascollege.edu/register.
“Our high-demand classes can fill up quickly, especially as we get closer to summer and fall 2015 semester start dates,” said Hernandez. “We invite students to meet with advisors and our expert staff who can help them through the process. It’s never too early to start planning ahead for the most efficient schedule.”
With more than 114 degree and certificate program options in a variety of business, technology, liberal art, social science, math, science, nursing, and allied health fields of study, students have a range of options when it comes to pursuing their education. This includes online classes via South Texas College Online.
Summer I classes begin June 1, Summer II classes begin July 8 and Fall classes begin August 24. For more information, please call South Texas College Admissions at 956-872-8323 or visit southtexascolleg.edu/register.
