McAllen, Texas – Dr. John R. Guerra has received the endorsement from Texas Alliance for Life PAC, a statewide non-profit organization of people committed to protecting the fundamental right to life of all innocent human beings and to promoting respect for their value and dignity from the moment of conception until natural death using peaceful, legal means.
Joe Pojman, founder and executive director of Texas Alliance for Life PAC released the following statement in support of Dr. Guerra: “Dr. Guerra’s track record in the pro life community and movement goes beyond his current candidacy. He’s been delivering healthy babies for over 20 years and I believe he will be a strong advocate in the legislature for conservative pro-life values. We’re honored to endorse him in his race to become the next State Representative in District 41.”
Dr. John Guerra, a lifelong Valley resident, is a small business owner and a family man, for over 25 years he’s advocated for less regulation from government entities. He graduated from Pan American University (UT-RGV) in 1977 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. In 1986 he started his Residency in Phoenix, Arizona after graduating as a Doctor of Osteopathy from North Texas State University.
Dr. Guerra is currently a member of American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologist, Texas Osteopathic Medical Association and the Catholic Medical Association. He is the President of McAllen Pregnancy Center. He is a former Board Member of the Texas Medical Board (2014-2018) and former Vice Chairman of the City of Mission Planning & Zoning Committee.

I look forward to making this a central issue in my campaign to become the next State Representative of District 41,” stated Dr. Guerra.
Texas House District 41 encompasses the cities of Alton, Edinburg, McAllen, Mission, Palmhurst, Palmview, and Pharr. Guerra’s name will appear on the Republican Primary ballot on March 3, 2020. Early voting starts on February 17, 2020.
