On July 9, 2025, Mega Doctor News met with two leading physicians from the DHR Health Transplant Institute to discuss an upcoming community event aimed at raising awareness about kidney transplantation in the Rio Grande Valley.
The meeting took place at the DHR Health Medical Office Building in McAllen, Texas, with kidney transplant physicians Dr. Sridhar Allam and Dr. Jose Luis Valdes in attendance. According to both physicians, the gathering served as a preparatory step for a larger event that DHR Health is hosting to inform and engage the public about the importance and reality of kidney transplantation.
DHR Health has announced a free, bilingual educational event titled “The Miracle of a Kidney Transplant”, scheduled for July 15, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance, located at 118 Paseo del Prado Avenue.
