McALLEN, Texas – The McAllen Chamber of Commerce told Texas Border Business they are informing interested parties that the deadline for the Request for Proposal (RFP) for marketing and creative consulting services for its Destination Marketing Organization (DMO) Visit McAllen within the Mexico international market is fast approaching. The Chamber encourages qualified and experienced firms to take advantage of this opportunity.
Visit McAllen, a vital component of the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, plays a crucial role in promoting McAllen, Texas as an attractive tourist destination. The McAllen Chamber of Commerce seeks a qualified and experienced firm to provide strategic direction, creative marketing consulting services, enhancement of the current brand, and assistance with special events and special project production and planning.

Proposals should include a comprehensive plan outlining the scope of service, compensation schedule, personnel experience that will be employed to achieve objectives. The submission deadline is June 30th, 2023. A list of agencies will be decided by July 7th with final presentations taking place July 12th. The chosen agency will be notified no later than August 4th. Upon the conclusion of the evaluation process, the McAllen Chamber of Commerce will select the most qualified consulting firm to promote Visit McAllen within the Mexico international market.
