The City of McAllen, in partnership with Hidalgo County Health & Human Services will be hosting a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the McAllen Convention Center, located at 700 Convention Center Blvd. in McAllen.
Pfizer and Moderna vaccine doses for various age groups, including children and adolescents, will be available on a first come, first served basis to anyone eligible to receive the vaccine.
There is no pre-registration, identification or appointments required. Registration is on-site and parents must be present with their minor child to fill out registration forms.
Vaccines will be administered by Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department nurses.
