Edinburg, Texas – Please be advised that the Courthouse, Courthouse Annex III, and Elections Department has been open since 10 a.m. this morning.
Precinct 1 is working out of Weslaco City Hall and will transition the administrative staff to the Progreso CRC while the building clean-up commences.
Precinct 3 has a skeleton crew this morning and is in process of repairing phones. The rest of the administration office staff will report at 10 a.m.
Precinct 1 offices will remain closed, while crews begin the cleanup process. Commissioner David L. Fuentes and administrative staff will continue working out of the City of Weslaco offices until the precinct offices reopen.
Precinct 3 offices will reopen at 10 a.m. tomorrow, although a skeleton crew will report at 8 a.m.
All other county offices are open their regular hours this morning. The county is continuing its emergency operations, assisting affected residents.
