The City of Mission will honor and commemorate the life of Cpl. Jose Luis “Speedy” Espericueta Jr., tonight at the Mission City Council meeting at 5:30 pm with a proclamation and special presentation. A day will be declared in his honor. Cpl. Espericueta lost his life in the line of duty on June 20, 2019, at the age of 44. The City of Mission will never forget the sacrifice he made.
