WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) met yesterday with leadership of the City of Pharr, Texas, including City Commissioner Daniel Chavez, Director of External Affairs Cynthia Garza-Reyes, and Public Affairs Liaison Michael Vargas, to discuss policy priorities for Texans in the Rio Grande Valley like the Pharr International Bridge and Sen. Cornyn’s Protecting American’s Food and Agriculture Act, which has passed the Senate and is on the President’s desk awaiting his signature.
Senator John Cornyn, a Republican from Texas, is a member of the Senate Finance, Intelligence, and Judiciary Committees.
