Senator Cornyn’s strong bipartisan support in the Valley stems from his track record as a statesman who can work with his colleagues to dowhat is best for all Texans.

Why: To announce big local endorsements and to have a conversation with South Texans
At 2:00pm there will be a “Conversation with Senator John Cornyn”- an informal discussion between the Senator and South Texans about jobs, border security, immigration reform, economic development, health care, energy, and education. This will provide an opportunity for the Senator to thank his local supporters and share his commitment to policies that work for South Texas.
Immediately following the conversation, around 2:30pm, there will be an endorsement press conference to recognize local mayors, city councilmen, former elected officials, Republican and Democrat party leaders, and businessmen who publicly support Senator Cornyn. There will be an opportunity for questions from the press afterward.
