EDINBURG, Texas – The City of Edinburg has completed construction of a 1-million gallon water tower that is expected to provide improved water service to residents.
The project initially began in November 2023. The tower, located north of Monte Cristo Road and Closner Boulevard, will provide additional water storage while maintaining and improving water pressure in the area. In addition, approximately 1,800 linear feet of new water line was installed to feed the water tower.

City staff will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3925 N. Business Highway 281 on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. to unveil the project to the community. The public is encouraged to attend the event to learn more about the improvements.Â
