EDINBURG, Texas – The Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library invites the community to its 6th Annual Community Health Fair, a free event focused on promoting wellness, prevention, and access to local health resources.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the library, located at 1906 South Closner Blvd., and is open to individuals and families throughout the community.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with professionals from local healthcare providers and community organizations and receive free health screenings, including vision checks, A1C testing, and glucose screenings. Hidalgo County Health & Human Services will also provide free flu vaccines.
The fair will feature educational booths, hands-on activities, and live demonstrations designed to help participants learn practical ways to improve their health and well-being. Activities will include CPR demonstrations, red light therapy demonstrations, 10-minute stretch sessions, and interactive health-focused games.
A total of 35 organizations will be on site to share resources and services with the community. Participating groups include representatives from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, South Texas Health System, StretchLab, Hidalgo County Health and Human Services, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Tropical Texas Behavioral Health, Walmart Vision Center, DHR Health, and additional local organizations.
