The City of McAllen will be digitally surveying residents via cell phone and other digital devices using the Zencity Community Survey platform. The survey will appear to residents using digital ads in various locations, such as social media platforms in both English and Spanish. The digital survey will run from November 1 through December 15, 2024. The survey is to obtain valuable feedback on McAllen SHINES, the new civic engagement pride initiative recently launched by the City of McAllen.
McAllen SHINES seeks to promote a cleaner, more vibrant community by encouraging residents, businesses, and city departments to take pride in maintaining their surroundings. Through initiatives focused on beautification, respect, and civic engagement, the program aims to enhance the quality of life for all who live and work in McAllen.
“We are always striving to get input from residents and learning more about resident opinions on this new initiative will prove to be invaluable,” said McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos.
“The McAllen SHINES survey will allow us to gauge resident feedback regarding recycling, trash pickup, litter abatement, property maintenance, and community ownership,” said City Manager Isaac J. Tawil.
The survey will be available via cell phone advertisements, the City of McAllen website, and can also be found through the following link and QR code.
