City of McAllen officials and the McAllen Fire Department will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at the McAllen Central Fire Station, 201 N. 21st Street.
City leaders will make remarks on the 20-year anniversary of the Remembrance Ceremony. September 11, 2021, marks the 20-year anniversary of the terrible attack on the World Trade Center in New York City that killed 2,996 people, including 343 firefighters, more than 60 police officers, and 8 paramedics who lost their lives saving the lives of thousands of people. The selfless and heroic acts have not been forgotten.
Come join the McAllen Fire Department and first responders as they pay tribute to those that gave it all so others may live.
