Laredo, Texas – The City of Laredo and Council Member for District 4, Alberto Torres, Jr., will be hosting the ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony of the Estela Quintanilla Crime Prevention Center at 320 E. Ryan St, corner with Springfield, to take place on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM.
The Estela Quintanilla Crime Prevention Center will serve as a hub for Laredo Crime Stoppers and will facilitate internal communications potentially aiding in reducing crime in Laredo.
Estela Quintanilla passed away on December 23, 2020 and is remembered for all the valuable contributions she made to the City of Laredo, the County of Webb and the State of Texas. Her leadership and advocacy for fighting crime and the expansion of public resources for those in need will never be forgotten.
