On Wednesday, Oct 19, 2021 The City of Edinburg recognized the Edinburg Chamber of Commerce during its city council meeting with a proclamation. 

The proclamation recognizes October 18 – 22, 2021 as Texas Chamber of Commerce Week. Mayor Richard Molina commended the Edinburg Chamber for providing resources for the local business community throughout the pandemic as well as providing quality of life events such as Night of Lights Parade, Texas Cook’Em: High Steaks In Edinburg, and Fiesta Edinburg.

The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating Texas Chamber of Commerce Week with a Member Appreciation Breakfast on October 22, 2021 from 8 A.M. – 10 A.M. at the Historic Edinburg Chamber Depot located at 602 W. University Dr. Edinburg, TX.

Following Executive Director Ronnie Larralde provided a resolution for the upcoming 2021-2022 year. Some of the key goals include increasing membership by 15%, establishing educational programs for business professionals, and promoting quality of life in Edinburg through tourism efforts.
