EDINBURG, Texas – Due to ongoing inclement weather conditions, All City of Edinburg offices will delay opening until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
Essential services, including Police, Fire, and critical infrastructure operations, will remain unaffected and continue to function as usual.
The National Weather Service has issued a Hard Freeze Warning from 6 p.m. Tuesday through 10 a.m. Wednesday. While precipitation is expected to clear by Wednesday morning, concerns remain about the potential for ice on roadways during the freeze warning period.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to delay the start of the workday to ensure the safety of our employees and residents. We ask for the public’s patience and understanding,” said Mayor Ramiro Garza Jr.
