BROWNSVILLE, Texas – According to Smart Asset, the City of Brownsville is ranked the number 16th safest city in the United States. This year’s ranking is a jump from last year’s position of 21. The ranking demonstrates the City Commission’s commitment to Public Safety as a key pillar in their Strategic Vision and reinforces the efforts of the men and women serving in the Brownsville Police Department.
