McAllen, TX–The candidates for the contested seats of The McAllen City Commission will speak at The McAllen Citizens League noon meeting on Thursday April 23rd. The meeting will be held at the Salvation Army Center on 23rd street and Pecan in McAllen.
“ Although we devoted the entire February meeting to the candidates of the Special Election for the District 1 seat, we will include the run-off candidates, Debbie Aliseda and Richard Cortez, in this forum”, said Christopher Julian, President of the League.
The other candidates to speak at this meeting are District 5 incumbent John Ingram and challenger Eli Olivarez and District 6 incumbent Veronica Whitacre and challenger Eduardo De La Rosa.
