Census Initiative: Edinburg Census GOAL

The City of Edinburg is excited to announce the Census Initiative: Edinburg Census GOAL. The initiative is open for residents living inside the city limits of Edinburg, and will run September 1 – 30, 2020, with the goal of reaching a 65% response rate for the City of Edinburg. Participants will enter a raffle that consists of three prizes for the RGV FC Toros last home soccer game.

Participants must complete their Census online, take a screenshot of the confirmation page, and submit it to helpline@cityofedinburg.com by September 30, 2020. Along with the confirmation, they must submit a photo of a valid ID and utility bill proving they live inside city limits. 

Residents in need of assistance to fill out the 2020 Census can receive help from staff at the Dustin Michael Sekula Memorial Library located on 1906 S Closner Blvd, Edinburg, TX  from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The raffle’s drawing will take place live on Facebook and Spectrum channel 1300 on September 30, 2020, at 3 p.m.

– $250 HEB gift card

-Family 4-pack to the last home game of the RGV FC Toros and $50 voucher for food and drinks

GRAND PRIZE

– 8 tickets for the last home game of the RGV FC Toros in a luxury suite

– $500 HEB gift card

The City of Edinburg recognizes the importance of the 2020 Census and believes every resident should be counted, as billions of dollars in federal funding go to hospitals, fire departments, schools, roads, and other resources based on census data. We encourage those who have not completed their Census and live inside Edinburg city limits, to participate. EDINBURG COUNTS!
