McAllen, TX-The International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) and R Communications invite the community get ready for the new school year with their annual Back to School Bash 2015. The event will take place at IMAS, located on the corner of Bicentennial and Nolana Avenue in McAllen, on Saturday, August 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Every year IMAS and R Communications team up to celebrate the start of the new school year by providing a day of FREE general admission to the museum filled with plenty of family-oriented activities, like magic and puppet shows, Live Animal Talks, face painting, arts and crafts, and FREE books. Additionally, the first 300 students will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies to get them ready for the new school year.
Apart from the many activities, visitors to the museum will have access to its various science and art exhibits, including 3, 2, 1…Blast Off!, an astronomy exhibit all the way from the Johnson Space Center in Florida.
