Kids and adults alike can make Seed Bombs to take-home and toss anywhere you’d like to cover with flowers.  Seed Bombs are balls made out of clay, compost and seeds.  Apparently, Seed Bombs were first used in the 70’s to “bomb” large vacant lots in New York City with flowers—they called it guerilla gardening-awesome!

Take a trip to Quinta Mazatlan in McAllen to celebrate National Plant a Flower Day from 9 to noon on March 12th.  The event is free with Park Admission, $3 adults, $2 kids, 2 & under Free.
