BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Camp RIO, located in Brownsville, Texas, is excited to host its annual Spring Fest on Saturday, April 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The campgrounds will open its doors for special festivities for all families. Admission is $8 for adults, $3 for children ages 3–17, and free for children ages 2 and under. Parents will have the opportunity to enter their camper into a raffle when they arrive.

Families can enjoy festivities such as camp games, treats, and photo opportunities. Admission includes access to several activities such as archery, kayaking, canoeing, and more, with zipline rides available for an additional $8 per person. Food will be available for purchase. Families will also have the opportunity to explore Camp RIO’s beautiful facilities, meet camp staff, and learn more about the exciting programs available this summer.

“We are excited to welcome families to Camp RIO for a fun-filled day celebrating spring and the spirit of camp,” said Camp RIO Director Nancy Mance. “Spring Fest gives families the opportunity to experience our beautiful campground, enjoy classic camp activities, and get a preview of the memorable experiences campers can look forward to this summer.”
