Rio Grande Valley, Texas – Camp RIO, an award-winning outdoor camp, is turning 10, and the community is invited to celebrate this exciting milestone. Camp RIO’s 10-Year Bash is filled with adventure, family fun, and community connections. This special event is free and open to the public.
Camp RIO will open its gates for an evening of canoeing, swimming, archery, arts and crafts, and more from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Camp RIO’s newest attraction – a zip line – will be available for free rides. Guests can enjoy live demonstrations, win giveaways, and explore the beautiful grounds of Camp RIO, which has been home to thousands of unforgettable camp memories since 2015.
“We’re so proud of what Camp RIO has become over the last decade,” said Camp RIO Director Nancy Mance. “This bash is not just a celebration of our past 10 years, but a joyful invitation to the entire community to come experience the magic of camp. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or it’s your first time visiting, we can’t wait to welcome you.”
In addition to traditional camp activities, the event will feature food and artisan vendors, educational booths, and plenty of opportunities for families to learn more about Camp RIO’s year-round programming.
