scientists, architects, facilities experts, and field professionals, announces the addition of four engineers to its team of professionals.

Terracon is pleased to announce the completion of its roster of outstanding young engineers at the Pharr office, highlighting the company’s commitment to professional development and growth within the industry.

Joining the team full-time is Samantha Leal, who transitioned from intern to engineer after graduating in May from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.

Nestor Alvarado, a December UTRGV graduate, was promoted from his role as a technician. His field experience is a valuable asset in his current position as an assistant project manager. Alvarado’s practical knowledge and dedication significantly enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of his team.

Fellow UTRGV alumna Ashley Alanis advanced from her position as an intern to staff engineer after graduating in December, highlighting her hard work and determination. Her promotion reflects the firm’s commitment to recognizing and developing talent from within.

Dariana Sagastegui rounds out the team. She has been with Terracon for almost three years and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in civil engineering at UTRGV. This further exemplifies the firm’s support for continuous learning and excellence.
