AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Kathy Kabell and Rev. Moises Molina and appointed John Fisher to the OneStar Foundation for terms set to expire on March 15, 2028. The OneStar Foundation provides technical assistance, education, information, and other support to Texas’ extensive volunteer community and works to improve and strengthen the state’s volunteerism and community service infrastructure.

Rev. Moises Molina of Brownsville is an associate pastor at Lavon Drive Church. He volunteers as director and president of STORGE Kids and is a Board Member of Rio Grande Valley Ministries. Molina received a Bachelor of Business Management and a Certified Public Manager Certification from The University of Texas (UT) at Brownsville, now UT-Rio Grande Valley, and is currently pursuing a Master of Theological Studies Program at Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary.

Kathy Kabell of Wichita Falls is the supervisory manager at the MWH Group, PC and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She is a member of Texas Society of CPAs, American Institute (AI) of CPAs, and the AICPA Nonprofit Certification Section. Additionally, she is a director of COPAS and Rolling Meadows Retirement Community and president of Texas Society of CPAs – Wichita Falls Chapter. She volunteers as treasurer and director for Wichita County Child Welfare Board and Outreach Chairman for Faith Lutheran Church. Kabell received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Midwestern State University and a Not-for-Profit Certificate from AICPA.

John Fisher of Temple is a retired Special Agent with the Texas Department of Public Safety. He is a member of Contemporaries of Temple Texas, Temple Founders Lions Club, Marine Corps League, and the Texas Municipal Police Association and a volunteer at Crossroads Church Belton. Fisher received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Kaplan University and an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps.
