BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The City of Brownsville is set to take center stage at this weekend’s U.S. GrandPrix Formula 1 Race in Austin. Thanks to an exclusive invitation from the Texas Travel Alliance, the Brownsville Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) will represent and showcase our City at the renowned exhibit, TOURISM TEXAS.

The U.S. Grand Prix is more than just a race; it’s a global sporting spectacle that attracts more than 400,000 tourists from every corner of the globe. The Brownsville CVB’s participation in this event presents a golden opportunity to exhibit the City of Brownsville alongside prominent Texas cities such as Dallas, Plano, Houston, and El Paso.

This year marks the second, consecutive visit the City – “On the Border, By the Sea, and Beyond” has beengiven the chance to represent the South Texas market on this esteemed platform. The participation of keypartners, such as the Gladys Porter Zoo and Brownsville TV, underscores the City’s commitment to promoting the unique and exceptional experiences Brownsville has to offer.

“Our City has so much to showcase, and this event provides the ideal platform to introduce Brownsville to aninternational audience,” said Dafne Maldonado, Convention and Visitors Bureau & Office of SpaceCommerce Director. “We aim to foster valuable connections and partnerships during the weekend that will undoubtedly benefit our community and bolster our local economy.”
