BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The Brownsville metropolitan statistical area has been recognized as one of the top destinations for relocation in the U.S., ranking No. 5 on United Van Lines’ 2024 National Movers Study. The city’s affordability, rich culture and strong economy were highlighted as key drivers behind Brownsville’s growth and ranking.

Greater Brownsville Incentives Corporation, the economic development arm of the city. “In our economic development efforts, we’re seeing how investors and businesses are realizing the real opportunities due to our regional economy, binational location and emerging industrial sectors.”
