The City of Hidalgo and the BorderFest Association will announce Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, the all-star lineup of performers and musical groups, as well as this year’s ambassadors, coming to BorderFest this spring.
BorderFest 2014, a celebration of Argentina, will be held Thursday, March 6, through Sunday, March 9, 2014, at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo.
Last year’s event celebrated the cultural treasures of Mexico and featured a sold-out performance by the Zac Brown Band.

BorderFest is the oldest and largest heritage and music festival in South Texas. The four-day event has hosted superstars such as Janet Jackson and Tim McGraw in the past, and nearly 100,000 people attend every year.
