FALFURRIAS, Texas â€“ U.S. Border Patrol agents rescued a group of illegal aliens as the inclement weather takes its toll.

On Friday afternoon, Falfurrias agents patrolling Brooks County detected a group of illegal aliens that had crossed into private ranchlands. Agents followed the tracks and located a group of ten illegal aliens who were not prepared to traverse the region in the midst of a heat advisory.

As agents evaluated the group, they requested emergency medical assistance due to four of the subjects displaying signs of severe dehydration. Agents carried the subjects to the closest road and began immediate medical treatment as they waited for local ambulances to transport the subjects to the hospital. At the hospital, all four subjects were admitted for heat-related illnesses.
