FALFURRIAS, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents disrupted a smuggling attempt resulting in the apprehension of 33 illegal aliens.
On Monday evening, agents working at the Falfurrias Checkpoint referred a pickup truck hauling a trailer to the secondary inspection area after a Border Patrol K-9 alerted to the trailer. During the inspection, agents discovered 33 illegal aliens concealed inside. Agents arrested the driver and escorted all subjects into the checkpoint.
The Border Patrol is processing all subjects accordingly.
