EDINBURG, Texas – Over the weekend, U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested two sexual predators.
On Saturday, Weslaco Border Patrol Agents apprehended a Salvadoran national near Pharr, Texas. During processing, his record checks revealed a previous deportation and a conviction for sexual assault of a child, second-degree felony, in Mount Pleasant, New York.
Yesterday, Rio Grande City agents apprehended a Salvadoran national near Roma, Texas. The man’s records showed a previous arrest and conviction for aggravated sexual assault of a child/intercourse by force in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.
The Border Patrol is processing the subjects accordingly.
