EDINBURG, Texas – Border Patrol agents continue to encounter sex offenders in the Rio Grande Valley.
This morning, agents working near Roma, Texas, arrested a Mexican citizen shortly after illegally entering the United States. The subject was identified as David Bolivar-Jimenez. During processing, record checks revealed Bolivar-Jimenez was arrested in 2017 for aggravated sodomy against a person less than 10 years of age, by the Ellijay Police Department in Ellijay, Georgia. Bolivar-Jimenez was sentenced to two years confinement and probation for life.
Border Patrol is processing the subject accordingly.
