EDINBURG, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley continue to encounter gang members.
On Wednesday, McAllen agents working in Mission, Texas, arrested a Salvadoran national whose criminal record checks confirmed that he is a Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang member.
On Saturday afternoon, Rio Grande City agents working near Roma, Texas arrested a Salvadoran national after illegally entering the United States. During processing, criminal record checks identified him as a member of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang.
The Border Patrol is processing both subjects accordingly.
