BACKGROUND:
BISD and the City of Brownsville Fire Department will be hosting a Curbside Event at Vermillion Elementary today at 9:30 a.m. for Fire Prevention Week, which is October 4 through October 10. Fire Prevention Week will be different this year due to the pandemic. Information will still be distributed to our community and adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines. BISD and the City of Brownsville will host fun, safe, and virtual events and activities this year for our Brownsville. The Fire Department has posted on their website some great materials. Please feel free to view some fire safety videos, download fire safety checklists, and a grid to practice two ways out with your family.
